Bill Young

Risk Analytics Practice Leader, Partner at CCIG

As a Risk Analyst in CCIG’s Risk Management Practice Area, Bill has a highly specialized skillset and the ability to create mathematical models designed to maximize clients’ investment in their programs. He brings three decades of insurance experience, including over 20 years of insurance statistics and mathematics expertise, to this role. The modeling and analytics Bill provides are unique in the insurance industry and enhance the best-in-class service offered by CCIG.

Bill analyzes claim data, deductibles, and other related factors to predict future impacts on clients’ insurance programs, coverage, and costs. His forward-thinking work gives clients the insights and education to make informed decisions about their coverage needs. Through predictive modeling and advanced data analysis, Bill can help clients prepare for the future today. With a data- informed approach to risk management, Bill supports clients as they identify opportunities to optimize their coverage and better plan for potential costs down the line.

Outside of work, Bill enjoys tutoring college students on high-level math and physics. Fun fact: he is also a Rubik’s Cube expert and can solve one in under 30 seconds.

Billy Strengle

Associate Risk Analyst

Billy is an Associate Risk Analyst in the Risk Management Practice Area, bringing over five years of experience in finance, data analytics, and risk management. He specializes in risk analysis, focusing primarily on workers' compensation and loss run analysis for clients' property and casualty (P&C) lines. He excels at translating complex mathematical concepts into clear, actionable insights, enabling clients to confidently navigate intricate risk management challenges.

Billy holds a double major in Finance and Applied Computational Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Notre Dame, leveraging a strong foundation in analytics and mathematics to provide strategic insights. He is adept at programming, utilizing these skills to improve processes, enhance data accuracy, and drive automation. Billy also holds a Producer's License for P&C in Colorado and performs deductible analysis and ad hoc risk assessments.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Billy enjoys traveling, skiing, hiking, camping, volunteering, photography, and reading.
